Decos has developed the fully cloud-based JOIN Case Types that focuses on the simple, fast and complete recording of case types. JOIN Case Types is in line with the standard recently published by KING: Gemma ZTC 2.0. This extensive information model is also perfectly applicable in other government domains such as water boards and safety regions. Not only does JOIN Case Types enable you to easily configure and manage your case types, JOIN Case Types also takes over the management of JOIN Case & Document. ¶ Relationship with case system (JOIN Case & Document)
JOIN Case Types is seamlessly integrated with the Decos business system. Publishing the configured case type makes it available in the case system. Based on the case type, all parts of the case system are automatically updated without the intervention of a functional manager. This includes the case collection, input screens, documents, handling process and access rights. The functional management of the business system is limited to the management of users, templates and reports. For everything else, managing the case type catalog is sufficient. ¶ Cloud application
More and more applications are based on cloud technology, but what does that mean for you as a user of JOIN Business Types? First of all, that you have access to zaaktypen.nl anywhere, anytime! Zaaktypen.nl uses Microsoft Azure technology. Together with the Cloud services of Google and Amazon, Azure is known for its reliability and high quality. The (technical) management of zaaktypen.nl is centrally arranged, so that you can spend your time managing your business types. Every customer of JOIN Business Types uses the same website. This ensures that you are always using the most recent (and reliable) version of the software and that you can easily share information with other users of JOIN Business Types. We will of course ensure that your information is properly secured. You decide which information about case types you want to share and which information not. You can rest assured that your data will never be made available to other users without your permission.
¶ Information model
JOIN Case Types is based on the information model ZTC 2.1, which was released in early 2013 by KING (Quality Institute of Dutch Municipalities). ZTC stands for “case type catalog” and is simply intended as an instrument to describe the handling of cases (in the case system). So it is actually a model where organizations can record their process descriptions (as case types). ZTC 2.1 is an information model, where all parts (also called objects and attributes) of a case type are included, such as deadlines, documents and decisions. But the steps of the treatment process (statuses) and the outcomes (the results) are also registered for a case type. In addition to the information model of ZTC 2.1, zaaktypen.nl also uses an addition to this information model. For example, a case type in zaaktypen.nl is supplemented with authorizations (access rights) for the case system (which user groups may create, edit, delete, etc.)
