This page lists all the actions included in version 2025.2. This is a so-called minor release that mainly includes stability, performance and security improvements (Case & Document, Integrations and JOIN Customer Contact). The version was released on February 28, 2025.
Version 2025.2 is supported by major version 2024.11. See also our SLA.

##System requirements
NOTE: In JOIN Case & Document version 2024.11, Elastic Search 8.15.0 (in addition to the 7.x.x version) is also supported. A re-indexing is not necessary if you update Elastic Search to version 8.15.0.
.NET: JOIN Case & Document (& Integrations!) requires version 4.8 of .NET
Search: JOIN Case & Document requires the installation of Elastic Search. We support the Elastic supported versions up to and including version 8.15.0
Databases: We support SQL Server and Oracle databases (Azure Cloud is SQL Server only). MySQL is not supported.
Server: from version 2023.5 we support JOIN in combination with Windows Server 2022. Our cloud environments have now been updated to this version. We recommend that you combine the JOIN 2023.5 and later update with Windows Server 2022. Our technical consultants can guide you through this.
We strongly advise you to always set up a new server when you want to update to windows server 2022. It is strongly discouraged to update an existing server to a higher server version. We also recommend that when installing a new server, the installation of JOIN Case & Document should be carried out by a technical consultant from Decos.

Note: Using the JOIN client in Microsoft Intune
From version 2023.11/2024.5, it is possible to roll out the JOIN client across your organization via Microsoft Intune. To do this, register the JOIN Client MSI as a Windows app (Win32) in Intune. Choose the MSI required for the version of Office you are using, 32-bit or 64-bit Office. Both MSI setups must be registered as Windows app (Win32) in Intune.
If you need support with the roll-out of the client, the deployment of a technical consultant can be used (for a fee)
Prior to each release, security tests are carried out to see if new vulnerabilities can be detected with the latest knowledge. Depending on the severity of the vulnerabilities, they are fixed by us prior to release and are included in this release. In release 2025.2, we have fixed 5 vulnerabilities in JOIN Case & Document.

The Rich Text Editor of JOIN Case & Document (which is used in the mail function, the decision-making module and the notes tab, among others) has been renewed. The QUILL editor replaces the CK Editor that we used in JOIN Case & Document until version 2024.11 and offers better support for copying texts, inserting images and tables. The editor is deployed in the following places in JOIN:
As of version 2025.2, the language “Spanish” has been added to supported languages. In addition to Spanish, JOIN offers support for English, Dutch, German, French, and Hindi. You can set the languages in JOIN Admin under the “configuration” section.
You can set the language in the “regional settings” section in the “configuration” menu. For more information, please visit this page
From version 2025.2 it is possible to set variable sender addresses when sending mail in combination with a sender address that differs from the email address of the logged-in user. When you configure multiple email addresses, a user will always have to choose a sender when sending the email.
You set up the functionality in the “email” section in JOIN Admin. Use a comma as a separator.
In the mail screen it will look like this:
If you do not choose a sender, you will not be able to send the e-mail and you will receive a clear error message to select an address.
####Angular update JOIN Integration Admin (JIA)
We’ve updated the JOIN Integration to the latest version of Angular, and we’ve made several improvements based on your feedback. In the previous major release, we had introduced the new version of JIA (fully developed in the front-end technology “angular”).
The deletion list functionality has been overhauled. This ensures a more stable and above all much faster function, allowing deletion actions to be performed much faster. It is now also possible to abort deletion actions.
The look and feel of the Teams APP has been adjusted, it is now also possible to choose document types when archiving teams, channels, documents and folders to JOIN. In addition, team and channel name changes are now also synced to JOIN.
When downloading documents from a file (from the documents tab) it is now possible to filter. Only the filtered documents are included in the download.
