The release of Thursday January 24 is a regular update. On the one hand to fix a bug and also in preparation for our upcoming release of JOIN Case & Document 6.25, which is scheduled for March 2019. Below you will find information about the update.
96323: Treatment roles are not shown for approval routes.
This issue was reported by a number of customers last week and is therefore prioritized by our development team. Although the treatment roles are still linked in the approval routes (they were not shown visually), it is nice if they are also visible.
This functionality is used in conjunction with JOIN Decision Making.
95828: Allow to leave the “secretariat” and “decision maker” fields blank in the decision-making document type
This functionality is used in combination with JOIN Decision Making and is a preparation for the release of version 6.25 of JOIN Case & Document. In this release, we will significantly expand and flexibilize the number of possible routes in decision-making. We do this, among other things, by leaving the decision-maker and secretariat empty per decision-making document (optional) and thus skipping it in the decision-making process. The following routes are then possible in JOIN Case & Document:
approval route | college / board | secretariat | decision maker | process |
---|---|---|---|---|
well | well*** | well | well | submit -> approval route -> college approval -> agenda -> take decision -> take note of decision |
no | well | well | well | submitting -> approval by the board -> putting the agenda -> taking a decision -> taking note of the decision ** |
well | well | no | well | submit -> approval route -> college approval -> take decision -> take note of decision |
no | well | well | no | submit -> approval by the board -> agenda -> take note of the decision * |
well | well | well | no | submit -> approval route -> college approval -> put on the agenda -> take note of decision * |

*: if no decision maker is configured, the decision “agree (unchanged)” is always entered. The outcome of the college is then ignored | ||||
**: if there is no approval route, an accepted proposal is always returned to the originator | ||||
***: if a role is linked, the lecture step is always created (discuss / agree / not present). We no longer check if there are more than 2 users in the role |
Note: do not leave the secretariat and decision maker fields empty unless you are using version 6.25 from March.
