Together with one of our customers, who makes frequent use of JOIN Agenda for various boards and councils, we have worked hard in recent months on various improvements for end users. This includes scrolling functions, dragging documents and agenda items, making it easier to add (sub) agenda items and managing agenda templates.
This release has been released on www.agenderen.nl on
The following actions are included in the JOIN Agenda release:
STILL ADD LIST OF actions
Create agenda item: we have moved the button to create a new agenda item to the top. This was first at the bottom and that was considered inconvenient by many users.
We have removed the function to create a new agenda item when dragging a document from the document panel to the agenda. The function was very unclear and led to many errors.
When you move the mouse over an agenda item, 3 icons appear. One to delete the agenda item, one to edit it and one to add a new (sub) agenda item.
When you click on the + icon you get the option to create a new agenda item below the current agenda item or a sub-agenda item.
If you want to create an agenda item between agenda item 4 and 5, for example, then choose new agenda item at 4. So you no longer have to drag around complicated agenda items.
We have now also added a scroll bar to the calendar itself. If you have an agenda item with many agenda items and you need to move agenda item 1 all the way down, for example, it is now easy to move the agenda item all the way down. Thanks to the scroll bar you can now do this in 1 smooth movement.
Dragging and dropping agenda items (including sub-calendar items and files) has become a lot clearer. After the release you no longer have to look for the thin line to create an agenda item, the place where you drag an agenda item to is now much clearer (and larger) visible:
The improvements we've made to calendars have also been extended to creating and editing calendar templates. These agenda templates can be linked to meeting types. As a result, every meeting of a certain type always has the same layout and layout.
