As soon as the release is available, we will of course inform you about this via a mailing. We will most likely combine the update to version 2023.5 with maintenance work on the infrastructure of the Kubernetes cloud platform.
This update affects the following products:
Details about the release will be shared with the release of the release.
The schedule applies to every cloud environment (Azure VM and Azure KS). You can read more about this in the following box. We take into account the approaching summer holidays in our planning.
Your acceptance environment will be updated to version 2023.5 on Monday and Tuesday 5 and 6 June 2023. The work will take place during the day, you should take into account that your acceptance environment is not or limited available during this period. We advise you to plan your own test period from Wednesday 7 June 2023.
You can test version 2023.5 against your own configuration and interfaces (if applicable). You can register issues with us until Wednesday 21 June 2023. We will solve blocking issues in the software and take them with us during the update to production.
Your production environment will be updated between Friday, June 30, 2023 6:00 PM and Saturday, July 1, 6:00 PM. During this period, your environment will be unavailable for some time. You can assume that the work has been successfully completed. You will not be additionally informed about this. In the event of an unforeseen malfunction, we will inform you by e-mail.
You use join’s cloud environment. At the moment we still use 2 different techniques (Azure VM and Azure Kubnernetes). We are in the process of phasing out Azure VM, but at this time your environment may still be running in Azure VM.
If it is unclear to you in which Azure environment your JOIN application runs or you want to know when your environment will be migrated to Azure Kubernetes, please contact your account manager.
Support for version 2022.12 will expire 8 weeks after the release of the 2023.5 release (see also our SLA. Because Decos itself determines the date of the rollout, it will apply to your acceptance environment 8 weeks after installing this version. The update on production must therefore be carried out by us no later than 1 August 2023. If you want to deviate from the production update, you can submit a request to us. You may be charged for this deferred update.
