We have made a change so that the holiday message is sent when the working day is over and a holiday starts the next day. This is calculated based on the working hours listed under Integration Settings - Social Media (Whatsapp):
Under the heading ‘Configure Whatsapp accounts’, the ‘Out of office’ or ‘Holiday’ messages can be configured:
The holidays (holidays) are configured in the Application settings:
Here are a few situations based on this configuration:
- Working hours 09:00 - 13:00
- Holidays are from Saturday 20 July to Sunday 25 August
- Customer sends a Whatsapp message on Thursday 18 July at 12:00 and receives the start message
- Customer sends a Whatsapp message on Thursday 18 July at 17:00 and receives the out of office message
- Customer sends a Whatsapp message on Friday 19 July at 13:15 and receives the holiday message
